The Oklahoma Supreme Court voided Monday the contested special election for House District 71.

The April 3rd election gave Democrat Dan Arthrell the win, but a subsequent recount gave the election to Republican Katie Henke.

Lost ballots were later discovered, giving the edge back to the Democrat candidate. Henke won a manual recount of previously machine counted ballots, by one vote.

The Oklahoma Supreme Court said "it's impossible to determine with mathematical certainty" which candidate won.

The seat is again up for election this fall - and both candidates filed to run again.
