Not Guilty Pleas Entered For Pair Charged In Tulsa Good Friday Shootings

Not guilty pleas were entered for two Tulsa men charged in Good Friday shooting spree during a court hearing Monday morning. 

Jacob Carl England, 19, and Alvin Lee Watts, 33, have each been charged with three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of shooting with intent to kill and five counts of malicious intimidation or harassment.

Three people were killed and two others wounded in the April 6, 2012 shooting spree.

Both men appeared via a video link from the Tulsa County jail for Monday's hearing.  The judge entered not guilty pleas for both men. 

Public defender Pete Silva was appointed as attorney for Watts and Clark Brewster will represent England. Both Silva and Brewster they would be talking with their clients at the Tulsa County jail. 

Assistant District Attorney Doug Drummond says a decision about seeking the death penalty in this case would not be made until after the conclusion of the May 30, 2012 preliminary hearing.
