The city of Tulsa has received another loan from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board as part of a citywide sanitary sewer system rehabilitation program.
The OWRB announced the latest loan for $4.37 million Wednesday. This loan follows another loan to the city for up to $12 million last month.
This month's loan will be going towards six projects.
Last month's loan will be used to replace sewer lines in several areas of Tulsa.
The Oklahoma Water Resources Board says the city of Tulsa is the "largest and most frequent borrower," adding the city has secured more than $515 million in loans from OWRB since 1990. Officials say during that time, the City of Tulsa has paid off 26 loans.
