Showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for eastern Oklahoma for the rest of the week.
News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says a storm system is moving in from the west, bringing with it the chance of severe weather beginning Thursday and lasting into the weekend.
Storms rolled across eastern Oklahoma Wednesday morning bringing heavy rain, lots of lightning and some reports of small hail.
Crone says the temperatures Wednesday will stay in the 60s.
He says the storms we've seen so far today have been below severe levels. He says the highest potential for severe storms will be Saturday and Sunday.
