Some scary moments for Tulsa firefighters late Wednesday evening when they had to back out of a burning home when the roof of the home collapsed.
The vacant house fire was called in about 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of North Quanah Avenue.
When firefighters arrived they immediately began battling the blaze and entered the home, but when the roof collapsed, they had back out and go into a defensive mode.
All of the firefighters were able to get out okay.
Firefighters say the fire started on the second floor before spreading to the roof. An investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
