Oklahoma State University beat James Madison for the 2012 WINT Championship Saturday.
The event drew Cowgirl fans in droves as the team clinched its 18th home victory of the season and its fifth-highest win total in school history.
Both teams were playing in the WNIT Championship for the first time – and they both were on five-game winning streaks. The two teams had never played each other.

OSU Cowboys Mike Cobbins and Brian Williams were on hand to give out free student tickets for their sister program's big game.
"They disappearing like a magic act," Cobbins Tweeted shortly before game time. "1 left."
The Cowgirls are looking for a big win in a year that started tragically with the loss of two OSU women's basketball coaches and two school boosters.
Coach Kurt Budke, assistant coach Miranda Serna and alumni Olin and Paul Branstetter died in a plane crash November 17, 2011, as they returned from a recruitment trip.

Since this is a young team, Cowgirl fans are already looking forward to an even better season next year.
