Thousands Pack The Tulsa Zoo For End Of Spring Break

If you're not catching fish, you may be soaking up the sun this weekend. Join thousands who are spending the last days of Spring Break outside enjoying the warmer temps.

As the sun came out and the ground dried up, hundreds of spring breakers flocked to the Tulsa Zoo on Friday.

Since Mother Nature spent most of the week dumping rain on Tulsa, most took advantage of this beautiful day.

Spring break week is when the zoo typically sees record numbers. On Friday more than 11,000 people came to enjoy the weather and see the animals.

Spring breakers aren't the only ones out enjoying the nice weather. Many of the people we talked to at Turkey Mountain say they couldn't wait to get outdoors and enjoy this greenery that the rain has left behind.

If you weren't off for spring break, here's some good news for you - the weather should be warm all weekend.
