Work started Monday to replace a bridge on 101st Street just west of Memorial.
It's a two lane bridge right now, and construction crews will detour those two lanes but keep them open during the work.
The replacement is costing the city of Tulsa just over $3 million and should be finished by October. The project is part of the 2008 Fix Our Streets funding package.
Another project also started Monday on 107th East Avenue from 58th to 61st street. It will widen the street and replace curbs, guttering and an underground storm sewer system.
That work should be finished this summer.
NewsOn6.com's Daily Detour will have updates on the project.
