'Get Your Rear In Gear' Race Raises Money For Cancer Awareness

Millions of people are counting on the medical field to find a cure for colon cancer.

That's why runners laced up their shoes for the "Get Your Rear in Gear" race through Veterans Park and the Arkansas River trails.

News On 6 was one of the event's sponsors.

Of the money raised, 75 percent stays in Tulsa to pay for colon cancer awareness and prevention programs.
