Tuesday, March 6, 2012 is Oklahoma's presidential primary election but you can begin voting on Friday.
Tulsa County Election Board Secretary Patty Bryant is reminding voters this is the first statewide election since a law mandating voters show identification went into effect.
"They need to bring a voter ID card. Or they can bring any government issued identification like a driver's license, passport, and tribal card. Something with a photograph and an expiration date," said Patty Bryant.
In-person absentee voting at the Election Board takes place Friday and Monday from 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The Tulsa County Election Board is located at 555 North Denver.
