Woman Dies In RV Fire In Bernice

Investigators are still looking into a deadly RV fire in Bernice near Grand Lake early Thursday morning.  Firefighters got a 911 call just before 3 a.m. about the fire.

When firefighters arrived they learned someone was inside the RV which was parked next to a home. Flames were coming from the windows and vents of the RV.

After knocking down the fire, firefighters found the woman's body inside. Fire officials say the fire started inside the RV.

The victim's name has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

Two dogs also in the RV perished in the fire.
