Tackle And Hunting Show Continues Sunday In Bixby

It promises everything the outdoorsman or woman could want -- and at great prices.

The MidSouth Tackle and Hunting show is going on now at the SpiritBank Event Center in Bixby. There are vendors from nine states offering everything from guns, fishing rods, clothes -- even a safari hunt in Africa.

"Cool thing about this show, it's a trade show that's got all kinds of hunting and fishing, camping supplies. But, it's also something that's fun for the family," said Vance Montgomery, show owner.

There will be celebrity appearances from the Swamp People, stars of the History Channel's reality show. Professional fishermen and hunting guides will get seminars on the newest techniques and equipment.

The show runs until 9 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
