Semi Crash Shuts Down Tulsa Highway Wednesday Night

A crash involving two semi trucks shut down a portion of I-44 in Tulsa Wednesday night.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a FedEx truck hit a semi that had broken down between Peoria and Riverside around 9:30 p.m.

The semis then hit the wall between the east and westbound lanes pushing the concrete into oncoming traffic.

It took Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews more than 3 hours to get all the debris cleaned up. No one was hurt.
