Former Oklahoma Governor Pitches His New Book In Tulsa

The first Oklahoma governor convicted of committing crimes while in office is telling his side of the story in a new book.

David Hall was indicted on federal racketeering and extortion charges just three days after he left office in 1974. 

He claims he was targeted by President Richard Nixon's administration.

Hall signed copies of his new book, Twisted Justice, in Tulsa on Tuesday.

In it he talks about his time behind bars and his interaction with other inmates including Nixon White House advisor John Erlichman.

Hall also talks about how he has moved on to develop an optimistic outlook on life.

"It looks me a long time, but after I'd forgiven those who were truly, I thought, the causes of my downfall, I felt like a brand new man. I didn't realize the tremendous physical effect of the forgiveness," said David Hall.

Hall now calls southern California home.
