Sources close to the program have told News On 6 that OSU wide receiver Michael Harrison will likely miss the upcoming 2012 season due to suspension.

It does not appear likely that Harrison will be dismissed from the team permanently, but rather suspended for one season due to violating an NCAA rule.

Coach Mike Gundy and the OSU athletic department have not released any official information regarding the situation.

Harrison would have in all likelihood stepped into a starting receiver spot on the outside for the Cowboys, who lost some of their key receivers such as Justin Blackmon, Josh Cooper and Hubert Anyiam.

Harrison caught 20 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns this past season.
