Editor's Note: We've changed the spelling of the male suspect's name to Terrance V. Voshall, based on records from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. The previous spelling of Vashall was taken from Tulsa County Jail records.
Two Bixby residents are in custody following a high-speed chase through Tulsa and Broken Arrow early Tuesday morning.
It started around 3:30 a.m. at 81st and Memorial in Tulsa and ended when the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Broken Arrow Police say the pair's car hit a pole at 81st and Aspen.
Trooper say speeds during the chase reached 115 mph.
After the impact, troopers say 22-year-old Terrance Vincent Voshall and 21-year-old Taylor N. Caldwell ran into a neighborhood, but troopers and police officers caught up with them and arrested both.
It is not clear why they tried to run from the OHP in the first place.
Voshall was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of DUI, eluding, speeding, reckless driving and interfering with a police officer. Caldwell was booked for public intoxication, eluding and interfering with a police officer.
