Catoosa Police Mourn The Loss Of The Department's K-9 Officer

Catoosa Police's K-9 officer Karo, who was 2 and a half years old passed away on January 17, 2012 from a rare intestinal disease.

Police say Officer Kolby Webster, who was Karo's handler had worked hard to get the K-9 officer program up and running.

Melton Truck Lines had made the initial donation to get Karo and Catoosa Police say the firm has agreed to help Catoosa Police get another K-9 officer.

Canine Unlimited is also helping out.

If you would like to donate, you can drop off your donations at the Catoosa Small Animal Hospital located at 1901 North state Highway 66.
