Two men are behind bars Tuesday afternoon after Tulsa Police say they defrauded a 79-year-old homeowner of $27,000.

Andy Jack Herrin, 54, and Lance Boswell, 27, were taken into custody on home repair fraud complaints.

Tulsa Police say officers on patrol in the area of 1900 South Knoxville recognized a silver Toyota Tundra parked in a residential driveway. They knew the vehicle belonged to suspects who had been involved in previous home repair frauds.

Officers spoke to the 79-year-old homeowner and learned he had been paying the suspects for home repairs from January, 2010 to December, 2011.

An investigation into the repairs is ongoing.
