Monday is Martin Luther King Day, a state and federal Holiday.
There is no mail delivery Monday and most banks and all state offices will be closed.
Tulsans celebrated with a big parade in the historic Greenwood District. It started at 11 a.m. at Detroit and John Hope Franklin Boulevard.
The parade route continued down Greenwood Avenue to East Archer Street and North Elgin Avenue.
The parade events include a canned food drive for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. A truck collected cans on the route. Teens will be at ONEOK Field following the parade sorting donations.
