Paramedics took two people to a Tulsa hospital after a crash on state Highway 266 near the Port of Catoosa late Thursday night.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash occurred at about 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of 266 and Tenkiller Road.

Troopers identified the two people as 63-year-old Ngoc Thi Dang Lan of Tulsa and 40-year-old Andrew Burns of Claremore.

The OHP says Lan was westbound on Tenkiller Road in a 1993 Acura Legend and Burns was northbound on 266 in a 1998 Nissan Maxima, when Lan failed to yield from a stop sign.

The OHP says Burns was treated and released.  Lan was flown by medical helicopter to where she remains hospitalized.

Members of the Verdigris Fire Department took 45 minutes to free Lan from her car.
