Fireworks May Have Started East Tulsa Grass Fire

Fire crews battling a grass fire in east Tulsa say children playing with fireworks may have sparked the blaze.

The fire charred around 30 acres near 31st Street and 145th E Avenue Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters say the saw juveniles running off as they arrived.

A National Guard helicopter was called in to help with the firefighting efforts. No structures were damaged.
