KANSAS CITY, Missouri --The Golden Eagles' up-and-down month continued Saturday, as they fell behind Missouri-Kansas City early and were unable to make it up, losing 92-79, dropping their first conference game of the season.

Kangaroos' guard Dayon Hall-Jones put on a virtuoso performance, scoring 43 points on a 16-of-25 performance from the floor, including hitting nine of 10 from behind the arc.

The senior score the game's opening basket, then proceeded to score 26 in the first half, including nine straight points, to send UM-KC into the locker room at halftime leading 52-39.

Early on in the second half, it proved to be the same story, with Hall-Jones hitting the opening shot of the half and the Kangaroos' lead ballooning to 22 points just seven minutes into the half. The Golden Eagles rattled off 13 consecutive points, including six from Kevi Luper, to close the deficit back to single digits.

However, the Kangaroos got back to their scoring immediately following by rattling off five consecutive and cruised to a victory.

Luper led the charge for Oral Roberts, finishing the game with 27 points, eight assists and four steals, while both Jordan Pyle and Savanna Buck chipped in 13 points each in the loss.
