Sturgis Police Arrest Tulsa Man For Possessing Almost 60 Pounds Of Marijuana

Police Chief Jim Bush says this is one of the largest busts he can remember in his more than 20 years with the department.

A Tulsa man was arrested this week after a Sturgis, South Dakota police officer stopped a pickup truck for speeding on Interstate 90.

A search of the truck turned up a large amount of marijuana.

"There were almost 59 pounds of marijuana found in the search," Sturgis Police Chief Jim Bush said.

Andrew Michael Robertson, 21, was arrested along with a Florida man.

Police Chief Jim Bush says this is one of the largest busts he can remember in his more than 20 years with the department.

Robertson is charged with possession of more than 10 pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute.
