East Central Head Coach Travis Hill Resigns

TULSA, Oklahoma -- East Central head coach and athletic director Travis Hill resigned Friday after being suspended by Tulsa Public Schools earlier in the week, Christopher Payne of Tulsa Public Schools confirmed. 

Hill was suspended Tuesday with full pay and benefits, as is required by law before his resignation Friday afternoon.

A decision would have been made by the superintendent of TPS within 10 calendar days on his employment status, but Hill stepped down before it became an issue.

Due to employee confidentiality, the district was unable to confirm why Hill was suspended.
