Fire Damages Sand Springs Keystone Chevrolet

An early morning fire broke out at Keystone Chevrolet Saturday. Sand Springs fire crews responded to the commercial fire just after 8 a.m.

The blaze started in an office in the used car sales building of the large dealership located at 8700 Charles Page Boulevard. Smoke damage was heavy throughout the building, however.

Sand Springs Fire Chief Mike Wood said there were people in the building at the time of the fire, but no one was injured.

An employee reported smelling plastic burning. When he went outside to look for the source, he saw the blaze and called it in.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, Wood said.
