A former Bartlesville restaurant owner who police believe started the May Brothers building fire back in 2009 has been sentenced to prison.

Last week, Robert Boyce stood before a judge and waived his right for a jury trial and pleaded guilty to second degree arson, manufacturing meth, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, concealing hazardous waste, false claim for insurance and conspiracy to commit second degree arson.

Washington County District Judge Curtis DeLapp sentenced Boyce on the arson charge to 25 years in prison with 15 to serve.

Boyce's sentences on the other charges will run concurrently, with credit for time already served. Boyce is also required to pay fines and $759,000 in restitution costs.
