Tulsa Driver Injured In Collision With Utility Pole

A pickup truck driver was injured when his vehicle struck a utility pole early Sunday morning in Tulsa. The 66-year-old man was driving northbound near the 700 block of South Sheridan at about 6 a.m. when his Dodge Ram left the roadway to the left and struck the pole.

Tulsa police weren't sure why the truck veered from the roadway but said the driver was not intoxicated. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Both the truck and the pole were badly damaged.
