UPDATE: The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Mark Morgan of Sapulpa was the driver of a pickup truck which crashed off I-44 near Memorial Drive Tuesday morning. Morgan was pronounced at the scene of massive internal injuries.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man in his early 50's is dead Tuesday morning after a pickup truck crash just off I-44 in the 8500 block of East Skelly Drive.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a motorist spotted the wreckage at 7:45 a.m. and called troopers.

Troopers say the pickup truck was eastbound on I-44 near Memorial, ran off the road, drove across Skelly Drive, through a creek bed and rolled, coming to rest upside down on an embankment.

The OHP is still trying to determine when the crash occurred, but suspect it was sometime Monday evening or early Tuesday morning.

The name of the driver was not released.

Troopers say they are investigating if a possible medical issue, like a seizure led to the crash.
