PAWNEE, Oklahoma -- Detectives from the Owasso and Broken Arrow Police Departments turned to Ebay to track down suspects in some recent burglaries.
For Owasso Police, the case began on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, when someone broke into the Surcee Home Decor and Gifts store.
The thieves stole thousands of dollars worth of expensive Brighton handbags early that morning.

Owasso detectives later discovered that a similar burglary had happened in Broken Arrow a few days earlier.
The investigation led detectives to Ebay, where they found someone in Jennings, Oklahoma selling what the detectives believed were some of the stolen handbags.
Owasso detectives say they bought one of the handbags from the Surcee burglary. They served a search warrant at an address in Jennings on Tuesday, where they recovered handbags and other valuables taken from both the burglary in Owasso and the one in Broken Arrow.
With the help of the Pawnee County Sheriff's Office, they arrested 35-year-old Kathaleen Jennings and 56-year-old Joyce Borges.
They were booked on complaints of knowingly concealing stolen property.
Police think the pair may be responsible for more burglaries. Employees at Surcee reported seeing a woman in a white 4-door car casing the store days before the burglary.
Police found a car that matched that description when they made the arrests in Jennings. They say the employees recognized Jennings from her booking photo.
Owasso police are asking business owners to contact them if they think she's been in their stores in recent weeks.
