Man Arrested In Tulsa QuikTrip Robbery

Tulsa Police arrested a man they say robbed the QuikTrip at 41st and Garnett around 3:45 a.m. Friday.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police arrested a man they say robbed the QuikTrip at 41st and Garnett around 3:45 a.m. Friday.

Police say William Wonenberg, armed with a handgun, took cash from a clerk then got into a SUV and drove away.

A short time later, Tulsa Police spotted the SUV at the Georgetown Motel at 27th and Skelly Drive.

A woman sitting inside the SUV was also taken into custody.  Police also found a gun believed to have been used in the robbery and the money taken in the robbery.

Wonenberg was booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
