PINE BLUFF, Arkansas -- Replicas of two of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus in 1492 to sail to the new world will stop at ports in Arkansas and Oklahoma starting later this month.
The Columbus Foundation replicas of the Nina and the Pinta will dock first at Lake Langhofer at Pine Bluff Regional Park on October 28. The ships will be available for public tours until leaving on November 6 for Fort Smith.
They're to dock at Fort Smith on November 11 and again be available for tours until leaving on November 20 for Muskogee.
They'll dock in Muskogee on November 23 with tours available until they leave on December 7 for Baton Rouge.
