Suspect Runs Away After Crashing Into His Own Tulsa Home

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are looking for a man who crashed an SUV into his own west Tulsa home Thursday morning.

Police say officers in an unmarked car were patrolling the neighborhood near 51st Street South and 31st West Avenue because of a recent rash of burglaries in the area.

The officers noticed the SUV driving slowly and tried to stop it but the driver sped off.

Police say the SUV hit a curb which caused a flat tire which caused the SUV to collide with the front of the home.  The man ran away.

Tulsa Police say an underage female in the car was detained for questioning.

Inside the SUV officers found an air pistol without the red tip on the barrel.
