BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- Close to 3,000 flags are on display at The Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. It's part of a special tribute for the men and women that lost their lives as a result of the 9/11 attacks.

Each flag bears a name of someone killed on that tragic day. After the 10th anniversary event, a bronze memorial reading "never forget" will be on display in the family center of the funeral home.

A funeral home representative said Sunday was more about reflection than a need for action.

"It's very solemn. There is no speaker; there's no program," said Mark Blankenship, Floral Haven general manager.

"But it is a time where people can come out walk among the flags, reflect and remember."

The funeral home has also posted an online memorial register book where you can leave your thoughts about the anniversary.

That book will be sent to the Ground Zero memorial next month.
