Biplanes Take Center Stage At Tulsa Air & Space Museum

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Vintage aircraft and a children's book about a biplane took center stage at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium Saturday.

As the museum highlighted its traveling exhibit "Our Lives, Our Stories: America's Greatest Generation," author Mary Coleman-Woolslayer shared her story, "A Biplane And Her Boy."

Woolslayer read her story each hour with the children's book as families had the opportunity to learn more about vintage aircraft. Two 1940s era Stearman biplanes were on hand, and illustrator Kevin Stark displayed some of his original artwork from the book.
