Here's good news if you're Tulsa:

This weekend's opponent is missing three members of its secondary. Tulane will most likely be without Shakiel Smith and Kyle Davis because they both have a separated shoulder. Taylor Echols is definitely out after suffering a concussion a few weeks ago.

As we know, Tulsa likes to throw it deep and likes to throw it often. The Green Wave allowed 33 points to Southeastern Louisiana in their opener last week. The Lions' offense is not exactly billed as ‘high-octane' like the Golden Hurricane's.

G.J. Kinne had a good game against the Sooners despite getting very little help from his supporting cast. Willie Carter was big in limited action. Trey Watts did well. The rest of the guys left a lot to be desired.

Tulsa will have a shot to get back on track in the Louisiana Superdome on Saturday. The last time they played Tulane there, TU racked up 37 points and 412 yards of offense.

Expect more big numbers this weekend in the Big Easy.
