Tulsa Driver Dies After Suffering Medical Condition On I-244

TULSA COUNTY, Oklahoma – A Tulsa man died after he suffered an unknown medical incident, and wrecked his car on Interstate 244 eastbound,  one-half mile west of Utica Avenue in Tulsa County Monday afternoon, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

The incident happened at 5:29 p.m. The victim, 44-year-old Karl Moore was taken to Hillcrest Hospital after the crash, where he died from the unknown medical incident.

According to the accident report, Moore was driving a 2003 Ford Windstar, eastbound on I-244, when he suffered the medical condition. The car then ran off the roadway to the left, striking the retaining wall.

Troopers say Moore was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.
