TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa's city council pushed forward with an effort to change the form of government.
The council voted to put a possible charter change on the ballot, weakening the mayor and changing to a city manager form of government.
Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett vetoed the council's effort, but Thursday, they overrode the veto on an 8 to 1 vote.
Only Councilor GT Bynum voted against it.
