TULSA, Oklahoma -- Experts say it's good to start healthy habits early.
Saint Francis Health Systems says it plans to provide health education curriculum for students in nine counties across Green Country.
Tulsa public schools will be the first to implement the program, which is for kids from kindergarten to high school.
The online program is called Health Teacher. It provides schools with more than 300 classroom ready health lesson plans and a whole lot more.
"There are factors that impact reading, writing and arithmetic… And the health and well being of children certainly has an impact," Dr Keith Ballard, TPS Superintendent.
The Health teacher curriculum will impact 180,000 students in Green Country.
