MANNFORD, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma's own gave back to the firefighters who fought so hard to project their community.
Hundreds of firefighters and their families where honored for protecting the people of Creek County from raging wildfires in Mannford Tuesday night.
"Well because I know personally a couple of people that lost their homes. But I also know many, many, many more whose home were saved, and its just our way of saying thank you," said Pastor Steve Quinnelly.
Local restaurants chipped in to cater the event. Donations collected will go to the firehouse, whose resources were drained by the fires.
