TULSA, Oklahoma -- For more than six decades, a Tulsa man has been the wizard behind the curtain for some of country music's biggest stars. From Roy Clark to Reba McEntire - Meryl Haggard to Clint Black, Jim Halsey helped them fulfill their dreams.
Now, the Tulsa Historical Society is showcasing his life's story. They have tons of memorabilia he's collected over the years on display.
"Jim's collection is so huge that we're going to rotate the artifacts through the year, so if people come in to see it in the next couple of weeks, they'll see a different exhibit in several months," said Sharon Terri of the Tulsa Historical Society.
Next month, Halsey will also host a series of seminars to share his star-making power with a whole new generation.
