STILLWATER, Oklahoma – Four Oklahoma State women's soccer players are on the National Top 100 Upperclassmen rankings, released Monday by TopDrawerSoccer.com.
The rankings include college sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Goalkeeper AD Franch, forward Krista Lopez, defender Melinda Mercado and forward Kyndall Treadwell all found spots on the list.
Franch, a junior from Salina, Kan., was the top player on the list for both OSU and the Big 12 conference at 14th. She has 20 career shutouts and earned All-America and All-Big 12 First Team honors last season. She was also a semifinalist for the Hermann Trophy, given annually to the nation's top college soccer player.
Lopez ranked 55th on the top 100 list after putting up 15 goals and five assists last season. Her 15 goals were second in the Big 12 conference and ninth nationally.
Mercado came in at 68th on the list after earning Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2010. She started every game and played the most minutes of any Cowgirl last season.
Treadwell was the fourth Cowgirl on the list at 82nd after an All-Big 12 First Team season. She had three game-winning goals last year for OSU.
Oklahoma State begins play Sept. 19 at home against TCU at 7 p.m.
