Man Jumps Off Boat And Drowns On Lake Eufaula

PITTSBURG COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A Wister, Oklahoma man drowned on Lake Eufaula Sunday after authorities say he jumped out of a boat.

The body of Johnnie Redwine, 41, was recovered Monday using a drag bar in 20 feet of water, according to an accident report.

The report states Redwine was in a boat traveling around 50 mph when he jumped overboard for an unknown reason.

The victim was not wearing a life jacket, the report said.
