Bridge Creek Downs Piedmont to Advance

OKLAHOMA CITY -- It might have been Bridge Creek's first game at the Big House, but the Bobcats certainly didn't play like it, winning 51-36 over Piedmont in the State Quarterfinals.
Piedmont jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first quarter, but Bridge Creek responded with a 13-0 run and led 25-13 at half.
Ryan Spangler had another big day for Bridge Creek. The future Zag led all scorers with 22 points. Austen Kelley scored 11 for the Bobcats and Jacob Bolich added 10.
Piedmont was led by Keith Vick who had 12 and John Stephens scored 10.
The Wildcats finish the season with a 22-7 record.
Bridge Creek advances to the 4A State Semifinals at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. They will face the winner of Tecumseh and Locust Grove.
