SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -- The Shawnee Lady Wolves never trailed en route to a 44-24 victory over Lawton MacArthur Monday in the title game of the Shawnee Shootout.
The Lady Highlanders pulled to within 10 points in the third quarter, but Shawnee responded with a 14-0 run.
Caitlyn Ramirez led the Wolves in scoring, finishing with 19 points and landed a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Shawnee's Kelsee Grovey added 15 points, while being named the Shootout's most valuable player.
The biggest shot took place at halftime of the Shawnee-Lawton MacArthur game. Brian Hill of El Reno nailed a half-court shot to win a pair of Oklahoma City Thunder tickets. Hill's long range shot went in as time expired. Hill had one minute to make the half-court shot.
