Putnam City North Cruises Past Star Spencer

EDMOND, Okla. – The Putnam City North Panthers were impressive in the opening round of the Deer Creek Bruce Gray Invitational on Friday, blowing out Star Spencer 87-40.

Junior Joe Summers of P.C. North led all scorers with 20 points while Jonathan Harjo was the Bobcats’ leading scorer with 10.

The Panthers led by as many as 53 points at the end of the third quarter.

Putnam City North will meet the winner of the Deer Creek-OCS matchup while Star Spencer will take on the loser of that game in consolation play.
