OKLAHOMA CITY—Guthrie came out soaring against Western Heights and shutout the Jets by a final of 69-0.
This marks the biggest win for Guthrie on the season; the next closest was their victory over Noble on Oct. 8 when they beat the Bears 49-0.
Guthrie (8-1, 6-0) scored most of their points in the first half, leading 55-0 at the break.
The win means Guthrie will clinch district 5A-1 and extends their win streak to six in a row.
Guthrie now moves on to play at Southeast on Nov. 5 while Western Heights(2-7, 2-4)will travel to El Reno for its last game of the regular season.
