Southmoore's Kendal Thompson to Play against Shawnee

MOORE, Oklahoma -- Southmoore quarterback and Oklahoma commit Kendall Thompson will return to action Friday for the SaberCats’ matchup with Shawnee, he announced via his Facebook page Friday.

Thompson – who was No. 3 in the Oklahoma Sports Top 30 – has been sidelined for the majority of the season after suffering a knee injury in Southmoore’s Week 2 win over Westmoore.

Since the injury, SaberCats have lost four of their six games and have been eliminated from playoff contention in District 6A-3.
