Broken Arrow Tops Southmoore without Fruecthing
The Tigers lost Class 6A's leading rusher, but his backup filled in admirably in the win over the Sabercats.

BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- The Broken Arrow Tigers stayed undefeated in district play Friday led by sophomore running back Cameron Wrenn who was called in after Ritchie Fruecthing left with an apparent concussion.
Despite losing the state’s leading rusher, the Tigers rolled over Southmoore 56-28.
Up 21-7 on his first touch after the injury, Wrenn carried the ball 29 yards for a score.
By the end of the night the sophomore running back had racked up 174 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 19 carries. He also added two receptions for 44 yards and a score.
Broken Arrow (6-1, 4-0) will try to continue their roll at home against the undefeated Norman Tigers, while Southmoore (4-3, 1-3) will try to top Jenks at home.
