Coyle Girls Basketball Coach Charged with Lewd Acts

COYLE, Oklahoma -- A Coyle High School teacher and girls basketball coach has been placed on paid administrative leave after being charged with exposing himself and groping eight teenage girls.

Stacey Ray Brewer is charged in Logan County with indecent exposure and lewd acts to a child under age 16.

Coyle superintendent Josh Sumrall was unable to comment on an active investigation, but said that the school district passed the case along to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and that “their findings will be our findings.”

Brewer was initially charged Feb. 5 after a girl said he exposed himself to her on a school bus and tried to give her his telephone number. He has been released on $10,000 bail.
