OKLAHOMA CITY – Millwood defeated Morris 73-57 in the semifinals of the Class 3A girls’ state tournament. The Lady Falcons advance to their third straight championship game. Millwood won it all in 2008 and were runners-up in 2009.
Teanna Reid and Quira Demery each had 15 points for Millwood.
The Lady Falcons led by as much as 18 in the first half. However, Morris would not go away easily. Laci Enright’s 3-pointer brought the Lady Eagles to within eight, but that is a close as they would get.
Enright finished with a game-high 17 points.
Millwood will face the winner of Kansas-Tishomingo 7:30 p.m. Saturday, for the title.
